I was watching Headline News Weekend Express with Lynn Smith and she had Dr, Darria Gillespie on that segment moved me into writing this article.
Keto – Oh, now I have your attention. Just the mere mention of the Keto Diet and people light up. It is the newest diet fad that is sweeping the nation. You haven’t heard about it, well let me fill you in. The Keto Diet is a diet high in fat (avocado), adequate protein (meat), and low-carbohydrates (low carb veggies) but you know that people have stepped that up to now what’s called the Dirty Keto Diet. Dirty Keto is the where the person eats any kind of low-carb foods that are processed and low in nutrients (bacon, butter and burgers) and basically as much as they want and losing weight.
True, they are losing weight and loving it but does their body love it? Nope, you can lose lean body mass and show symptoms of the “Keto flu.” Haven’t heard of the Keto Flu? Well, let me tell you some of the symptoms:

Listen, the way to feed your body and make it happy, healthy and yes you can lose weight is by eating real food. Lean meats/fish, fresh veggies and fruit. Go ahead and get on the Real Diet.
